We’ve been making a lot of improvements on sheetmusicdirect.com in the past several months and recently we’ve released an update that will allow you to search a lot easier by filtering search results. Here’s how it works.
After every search on sheetmusicdirect.com you’ll see various filters on your left hand side. These filters will allow you to narrow down your search results by an arrangement group, genre or instrument. They’ll also show you how many scores we have in the catalogue for every instrument or genre:
The new Arrangement Groups contain similar instruments, making it easier to find the sheet music you need for a particular instrument or arrangement. For example, clicking on Piano & Keyboard arrangement group will expand the filter to show all arrangements of the song you have searched for that you can play on piano or keyboard. From here, you can even select arrangements based on difficulty (for example, Easy Piano):
What’s more, every selection you make will be shown at the top of the filter list. This will make it easier to de-select filters if they do not deliver the results you are expecting to get:
And lastly, you can now sort your search results in many different ways, including sorting by price, popularity, release date as well as alphabetically:
We hope you’ll like these improvements and find them useful in helping you find sheet music that you need. As always, we would love to hear your comments and suggestions – please email them to firstname.lastname@example.org
